Raquel Sofia

Raquel has been dancing since the age of 10. She has trained and competed in various styles including: Acrobatics, HipHop, Breakdancing, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary and Lyrical. Raquel has graduated from George Brown Dance Performance in Toronto, ON. Raquel currently teaches at Elan Dance Arts in Lambeth where she grew up. Raquel choreographs competitively and directs their Shining Stars program. Elan Dance Arts’ Shining Stars program offers inclusive dance classes for students with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities. Raquel is very passionate about teaching her students and supporting them along their artistic journey.
While growing up at EDA Raquel had the experience of watching first responders participate in this event and is beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to be involved in such a wonderful event with such impactful individuals.
