2014 Host
Beverley Mahood
Singer-Songwriter, TV Personality, DMMF National Patron
A successful singer, songwriter, actress, model, and television host, Beverley Mahood is truly a dynamic entertainer. Now busier than ever before, 2013 promises to be an exciting new chapter in Mahood’s already diverse career. In addition to the release of her much-anticipated studio album with Nashville-based All Entertainment, Beverley will make her small screen acting debut in the television movie Changing Seasons, and she returns as host for an all-new season of CMT’s most popular series Pick A Puppy, now airing in multiple countries around the world.
In the past couple of years, Mahood has performed for some very exclusive audiences, including the G8 World Leaders, British Royals William and Kate (on their first official trip to North America), for the men and women of the Canadian military during a two-week tour of Afghanistan, and most recently for a crowd of hundreds of thousands as host of the Canada Day celebrations on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Always one to make time for the organizations closest to her heart, Mahood continues her philanthropic work throughout 2012 as dedicated host for the Telemiracle telethon, national spokesperson for The Pink Mitten Campaign to end breast cancer, and devoted advocate for the Canadian Military. |
