'I have been a part of Middlesex-London Paramedic Service coming up to two years in October. I have really enjoyed my time working alongside some of the most incredible and supportive paramedics. These people make work fun and exciting, I really am so proud to call them my brothers and sisters.
I am so excited to be a part of this years DWTS 911! Growing up I was always involved in hockey and dance. After a pretty serious hockey injury, being told I would need surgery and would not be able to continue my hockey career, I became more involved with dance.
Moving away for college I unfortunately never kept up. Long story short, I can’t play hockey anymore, I’m more of a cheerleader when it comes to soccer, and should not be trusted with a golf club… so this is a great opportunity to be a part of a great cause doing something I love, with the people I love to be around!'

'My name is Layne Lavis, born and raised in Holmesville, Ontario. As a member of both the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary, as well as Huron & Area Search & Rescue, I have an appreciation for volunteering, giving back to the community, & helping others during a time of need. Without a doubt, volunteers are an integral aspect of any community looking to thrive & grow. I was recently deployed to Fort Hope Ontario, an Ojibwe First Nations band community, located 300 km northeast of Thunder Bay. While deployed I was given varying tasks to help the community get back on their feet after their water treatment plant was burned down. Aside from volunteering, I thoroughly enjoy playing hockey, golfing, working out, my 2 dogs, cooking, & spending time with my family & friends. I look forward to stepping outside my comfort zone for this fundraiser, learning new skills, meeting new people, and helping such a great organization!'
